Everest is fearsome from Base Camp. Chomolungma is the Tibetan name for the mountain, the Chinese spell it Qomolangma - Jamie
The climb to North Col (Camp 1, also called camp 4) - Jamie
Near the summit. Shishapangma is in the distance,
slightly left of Cho Oyu 8201m, the white flat-topped peak (normally climbed
from the other side).
In the centre with the big face is Gyachung Kang, the 15th
highest mountain, just below the magic 8000m mark.
Those layers! Ascending the last section to the summit.
