Everest Expedition 2007
|
The trek from Base Camp (BC: 5150m) to Advance Base Camp (ABC:
6400m) is a tough 22 km walk but with some spectacular panoramas,
we trekked it three times up (and three times down) during the expedition.

Climbing Everest is all about waiting for the right conditions;
you don't want to be up there in winds like this.

Is Everest "easy"? Summit day, assuming you got that far, has some difficult and exposed climbing.
Our climbers and sherpas summitted on 24 May and 5 June, but since we started two weeks later than many teams, it was not a particularly long expedition.
