The Kangchenjunga trek by Dave E Haun

What a trip! We climbed Tengkoma 6215m, but more importantly had a lot of fun, it was a great bunch of people - at least once William had removed himself. These pictures were taken by a Nikon digital camera and tweaked by Jamie.

The hardcore team (L to R), half of Sam, Didier, Joel, Dana and Martin.
Drinking tungba was a great excuse for flirting with the local women.

Although Kangchenjunga is the big draw name, Jannu is the star.
Taken while approaching Jannu North base camp after unusual heavy snow.

In the higher reaches of the trek there are spectacular mountains everywhere.

Snow leopard tracks found while exploring. The boys zipped up their tents that night!

The real thing, but a photo from a zoo. Jamie has only see one in the wild - while sleeping outside.

From Pangpema the north faces of Kangchenjunga are fearsome.

Villages, forest camps, mountain camps - and good company. what more could you ask for?
