Payment methods

We offer a variety of ways of paying us for a trip, please discuss to find out which method is both most convenient and cheapest.

Deposit payment

You can pay the USD750 or USD1000 deposit payment by:

+ credit card payment through PayPal

+ bank transfer (split fees)

Balance payment

+ a bank transfer (all fees born by you)

+ cash on arrival (pay a 50% deposit to carry less cash)

- pay by credit card but there is an extra 3.9% charge
(we work on tight margins, and the processing charge is substantial).

Additional hotel nights

These can be paid up front or alternatively locally in cash hard currency or local currency.

Paying a trip deposit

So you are ready to pay a deposit by credit/debit card?

Checklist

Before you pay us, first you should have:

+ been in contact with us

+ booked your flights to Kathmandu or Leh (India)

+ signed the Acknowledgement of Risk, Waiver and Release

+ filled in the Contract and Booking form

+ booked travel insurance

OK, so you are ready...

What if I book then want to cancel?

For our trips we take a US$750 (sometimes US$1000) deposit covered by the fine print in the Contract and booking form:

"If you cancel at least 21 days prior to the trip start you lose the deposit amount. We will refund any other money paid."

Payment

We use PayPal to handle credit card payments, you are taken to PayPal's secure payment site (and please excuse the slightly weird layout below).
