Base CampHanging around Base Camp no sign of lassitude (or Pong, the cook from Rumdoodle)21 April -Mary is fully recovered and even tackled a hill today, and with the cleaner meals everybody else's guts are better too. Namgyal trekked up to ABC today to reserve a spot for our large dining tent.
Chinese base camp with Cho Oyu behind 22 April - Base Camp 4910mSuffering from an enormous breakfast, most of us climbed up to 5375m for some acclimatisation. Namgyal returned from ABC with two sick people, one on oxygen who didn't speak English, perhaps he was from the Spanish group, and one more, perhaps Italian. So that is a tally of three down (but none from our group...) We have one of our old spots at ABC reserved for our huge dining tent. Five Tibetans helped level it off further - it is a big tent! 23 April - Base CampWe are hanging around packing ready for the trek to Intermediate camp tomorrow.
