28 June - load carryWhat a spectacular day, but Jamie forgot to put in a memory card so no photos. We began exploring the climbing route, Denis and Pierre-O climbing to C1 and then skiing down. Jamie and Taqui (our Pakistani high atitude porter) carried a load to C0.5, assisted by Olivier and Malte. The route is different from last year, up a couloir with snow and rock fall but we might put our own route in later. Everyone is feeling in good condition and tomorrow some of us will sleep at C0.5. © Jamie McGuinness - Project-Himalaya.com - 2004 |
