Shegar - day trip

We stay two nights to acclimatize, and take a day trip to the wonderful ruined fort.

22 April - Shegar, stretch the legs

No matter that the hotel isn't perfect, it is still far superior to Tingri, so Gavin, Geoff and Philippe are happy. OF course we must take a good walk here to stretch the legs and the ruined fort or "Dzong" in Tibetan is just perfect for this. Duncan's group took Landcruisers to the base, pussies! We walked the 8kms as well.
