Enjoying life

Our trips may sound serious but if you have read the diaries, you know we have fun.
Also in Kathmandu with friends, especially with Sudesh at his place, New Orleans - THANKS!

We also hang out quite a bit at Sam's, a really mellow old-style Kathmandu bar

Louise (who trekked 4 trips in a row during 2002), Nicola, Jamie, Andy (my brother), Joel and Michelle.
Some of us are just back from a trek, others about to go.

Sometimes we hold dinner parties at our place. I just counted the empties, we have nearly 60 wine bottles from less than a year!

We try to act civilized sometimes (at the marvelous Fire & Ice restaurant)

But don't always pull it off, here with our friend good Don who has come on three or four treks.
