Everest BC Puja

We show respect for the mountain

A ceremony to show respect for the mountain is part of every major expedition and for Everest we have a puja at both BC and a shorter one at ABC.

20 April 2011 - Base Camp puja

Dawa Gelje always says a mix of weather is best, and we have often had snow, rain, shine. this time was wind mainly, and a beautiful day. Phujung and Karsang officiated on a moving ceremony.
