Agra, Taj Mahal & Jaipur Trip

New: the ultimate three-day Indian road trip. Drive from Delhi to Agra in a private, air-conditioned car, visit the stunning Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and the Agra Fort, and stay at one of the best hotels in Agra. The next afternoon, head to the palaces and bazaars of Jaipur, Rajasthan's pink city, and stay in a 'Heritage Haveli'. You are well looked after by an English-speaking guide throughout.

Day 1 - 7:00 am

Pick-up by private, a/c car at the hotel in Delhi and drive to Agra. You can have breakfast first, or stop en route, it's your choice. The drive is approximately 4 hours.

After arriving in Agra, you check in to the hotel and go for lunch during the heat of the day. Afterwards, your guide will take you to the Agra Fort and then the Taj Mahal for sunset ...

Day 2

Drive to Fatehpur Sikri, a wonderful old palace that is a striking contrast with the Taj Mahal. (We get an additional local guide for the visit to Fatehpur Sikri). If you want, there is the chance to visit Sikender's Tomb and Id Mud Dualla (baby Taj) before heading to Jaipur, a few hours drive away.

Check into the lovely Alisar Haveli Heritage hotel, and spend sunset admiring the Hawa Mahal ...

Day 3

You have the morning to explore the sites and bustling bazaars of Jaipur. Drive back to Delhi in the afternoon, and arrive in Delhi for a late dinner. You can make the schedule according to what you want to see that day ...

This tour is run by Druk Expeditions in Delhi they do a great job. You can book it before you arrive in India or book it on arrival, you can pay before or as you arrive in India. If you have the time we recommend the overnight trip, but if you only have a day, it can be done in a day too.

If you ask around at travel agencies in Delhi you will get various prices, some higher and some lower, but few that will be as reliable. We have worked with Druk Expeditions for nearly a decade and they are pleasant and reliable. You can trust them!

You last alternative is of course to buy train tickets yourself or get a car by yourself and go and see what happens. It might be cheaper than this and you will definitely have quite an adventure!
