** 2015: After fifteen safe and successful years, Jamie has finished guiding 8000m peaks. **
Our Everest thoughts and Everest North or south? are still relevant.

Around 100 clients have summited 8000m expedition peaks with us, and several dozen climbing sherpas working for us, see the various expedition histories. We have had no deaths, and virtually no frostbite.
On a more personal note Jamie has summited:
6x Everest (2003 working as a climbing sherpa, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2019)
5x Cho Oyu (1999 semi-solo, 2001, 2002, 2004 pre-monsoon, 2004 post-monsoon semi-solo)
4x Shishpangma Central Summit (2000 solo, 2003, 2005 two days in a row)
Broad Peak 2004, first Kiwi to the true summit
6x Aconcagua and 1x Mt Vinson
(and more than 100 treks and trek-climbs as well)

(and yes, I really did work solely as a climbing sherpa, the only foreigner to ever have done so)
My first 8000m summit, Cho Oyu in 1999
This is the only photo I have, which is not taken quite at the summit, as I summited 15 minutes later alone and in cloud. Yep, there was deep snow.
